Green Elk Rapids

Green Elk Rapids raises awareness and appreciation for environmental issues and the natural environment within its namesake community. Since 2009, this volunteer-run organization has met its mission by collaborating with local schools, governments, businesses, nonprofits and community members. It’s also hosted education and community service programs. It also keeps the Americana tradition of the almanac alive with a monthly publication.
