President Donald Trump’s new tax proposal has been signed into law. He called it “one big, beautiful bill” before it passed. We call it anything but.
There are real consequences for Michigan’s natural and built environments because of this law. The same goes for our state budget, which funds a lot of goodness we take for granted.
That’s why the Michigan Environmental Council, Michigan League of Conservation Voters and Sierra Club Michigan are coming together to talk about them in “Flood Proof.”
In this webinar series, we wade through the deluge of federal news and dredge up what it means for Michigan. We will also share ways organizations and individuals are protecting air, water and beloved places from it all.
Take action in three different ways! Use the Action Hub to call or email lawmakers through the Michigan League of Conservation Voters. Take collective action at home and at afar through the Sierra Club Michigan Chapter. Volunteer with a local environmental nonprofit through the Michigan Environmental Council.
