Contact

Reese Dillard joined the staff in July 2023 to keep our water clean, filled with wildlife, and available for all Michiganders. She develops solutions to our greatest agricultural, industrial, and invasive threats, working with advocates, lawmakers, and government departments to do so.

Reese has worked with the Environmental Council before. In 2022, she served as a policy fellow, helping map out nature access in southeastern Michigan. Her results are being used to conserve more urban land and water.

Other past roles include working for Michigan House Minority Leader Donna Lasinski and working as a field service technician for a botanical garden and arboretum.

Rounding out Reese’s experiences are a degree in political science from the University of Michigan and coursework in criminal justice and corrections at Siena Heights University.

Outside of work, Reese enjoys getting to know the city she lives in: Jackson. She also enjoys reading, hiking and camping.
