Transportation

Our nation’s automotive industry was born in cities like Detroit and Flint. But as we work to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and combat climate change, our transportation system must evolve to meet the modern mobility needs of our cities and hometowns. We must also embrace transportation options like biking, walking and mass transit to make Michiganders healthier and places more accessible.

Our vision for change

Enhance mobility for all Michiganders and save taxpayer money by rightsizing our road system, increasing funding for commuter rail; bike lanes; pedestrian spaces; and bus transit, and helping local governments create thriving, walkable communities.

Reform Michigan law

to provide long-term, sustainable revenue for a holistic transportation system.

Increase funding

for commuter rail operations, land acquisition and infrastructure build out.

Enact legislation

that requires the state's transportation department and county road commissions to determine the total greenhouse gas emissions from future transportation projects.

Ensure a new transportation funding method

taxes electric vehicle drivers fairly and equitably.

Strategic Transportation campaigns

Transportation Emissions Reduction

We must ensure our transportation leaders are determining the total greenhouse gas emissions for future transportation projects.
