Communications

Every Michigander is impacted by our most pressing environmental issues, whether it be climate change, pollution, threats to outdoor recreation, or unsafe, unsustainable housing. We need each and every resident to help us advocate for big change. We work to bring these issues to the people through the power of storytelling. Then, we provide pathways to take action and ensure their voices are heard.

We’re using the power of story to cultivate action for our bold environmental agenda.

In our vision for telling the story of our movement, our communications articulate the urgency of the solutions we’re fighting for while also connecting our audiences with pathways to take action and get involved. We do this by:

  • Telling impactful stories to connect each Michigander to the faces and voices of our movement—those facing environmental injustices and those fighting for change;
  • Growing our database of advocates so that our messages carry from the tip of the Upper Peninsula to our southernmost border; and
  • Amplifying the work our allies and members are driving each day, helping them build support beyond their immediate communities.
