West Michigan Environmental Action Council is West Michigan’s preeminent resource for environmental education and advocacy since 1968. Founded by a diverse group of concerned citizens and organizational stakeholders, responds to emerging issues and new threats to the area’s natural and human ecologies, strategically focused on building sustainable communities and protecting water resources. It is among the oldest environmental organizations in Michigan, and it has been influential in strengthening statewide pollution protections, for our air, water and people.
