Saugatuck Dunes Coastal Alliance

The Saugatuck Dunes Coastal Alliance represents a coalition of individuals and organizations working cooperatively to protect and preserve the natural geography, historical heritage and rural character of the Saugatuck Dunes coastal region in the Kalamazoo River Watershed. Since its founding in 2007, it has protected over 300 acres of dune ecosystem across three protected areas. It has also taken legal action against dangerous development, helping set a precedent not only in the Saugatuck area, but the state.
