Healthy Pine River
Healthy Pine River helps restore its namesake stream and its tributaries to a strong state. The Alma nonprofit was formed in 2015 by concerned community members, researchers and volunteers who noticed the degraded water quality in their area. It is restoring the Pine River, especially its section in Gratiot County, to its former health by tackling pollution issues.
