Groundwork Center for Resilient Communities

Since its beginning in 1995 as the Michigan Land Use Institute, Groundwork Center for Resilient Communities has given people an opportunity to create the Michigan they want to see. Their involvement has allowed the transformational work it does to protect the environment, strengthen the economy and build thriving communities people cherish, protect and nurture. It organizes a number of transformational programs, from farm-to-school systems to a north-to-south passenger rail line.
