Flint Rising

Flint Rising was formed in 2016 in reaction to the lacking government response to the then-2-year-old Flint Water Crisis. It has since grown into a coalition of grassroots community organizations and allies working to ensure people directly impacted by the lead poisoning crisis are building the organizing infrastructure and leadership necessary to create the future they deserve. A project of Tides Advocacy, Flint Rising has also gone beyond city limits to fight for water justice in other communities.
