Environmentally Concerned Citizens of South Central Michigan

Environmentally Concerned Citizens of South Central Michigan, ECCSCM, educates the public on the health risks and the environmental damage Confined Animal Feeding Operations, also known as factory farms, have brought to our community and its watersheds. There are over 130 such operations in the Western Lake Erie Watershed, and ECCSCM documents their pollution while also promoting more sustainable alternatives. Many members of ECCSCM are or were farmers themselves.
