Capital Area Friends of the Environment

Capital Area Friends of the Environment, or CAFE, makes the Lansing region more sustainable and just by working to protect the natural and built environment through direct action and the organization and education of residents, officials and business leaders. It does so through resources-sharing, events, presence at local government meetings and a dedicated listserv. Among its top priorities are renewable energy development; multi-modal transportation; clean, affordable water; and ending pollution in local streams.
