27th Annual Milliken Award Celebration

Announcing our signature yearly salute

The Milliken Award Celebration honors an environmental hero with the Helen & William Milliken Distinguished Service Award to a professional for their career of service. Past recipients have championed issues ranging from addressing the dangers of lead in our waters; to pioneering environmental justice in Detroit; to fighting pollution, enacting powerful environmental legislation and more.

This year we honor Governor Jennifer Granholm and her decades of dedicated leadership on climate and energy policy, which has helped ensure Michigan is a national leader on these critical issues.

Festivities include presentation of the Helen & William Milliken Distinguished Service Award and an exclusive pre-event reception.

The celebration will take place at the Rogel Ballroom at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor on Thursday, Aug. 14. See below for sponsorship information. Tickets will be made available for purchase soon.
