Saugatuck Dunes needs your help today

Aug 22, 2013
If you love the coastal dunes of Michigan, now is the time to speak up. The Saugatuck Dunes are under attack and need your help. Please help stop a road that is 10,000 feet long, requires the removal of over 500 trees and would pave over 200,000 square feet of pristine dunes and wetpannes.

The Department of Environmental Quality is asking for your voice and opinion to determine the public interest. It doesn't mattter where you live or vote!

Please click here for a sample letter, link to the DEQ online comment form, talking points, and contact information from our friends at the Saugatuck Dunes Coastal Alliance.

The public hearing will be held August 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Saugatuck High School Auditorium (401 Elizabeth Street in Saugatuck).

Your voice really can make a difference.
