Do you live near the Straits of Mackinac, the Soo Locks or Petoskey? If so, join our webinar and get to know where your candidates for the Michigan House stand on environmental and conservation issues.
Michigan Environmental Council is partnering with Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation to host an environmental and conservation candidate forum for the 107th House district, which covers Chippewa, Emmet and Mackinac counties and parts of Cheboygan county. Moderating is MEC President and CEO Conan Smith, pictured right.
All candidates have been invited. As of July 20, Democrats Jim Page and Kurt Perron, and Republicans Terry Lamb and Kathy Twardy are confirmed. Once the Aug. 4 primary election concludes, the Democrat and Republican winners of the will vie for the seat left open by term-limited Speaker of the House Lee Chatfield.
